We have a couple of backpacks with us.
Short sightseeing stop with surprise moment at Okayama: all the lockers are out of order because of the APEC summit.
This castle looks very modern.
Because of the dark color it's also called crow castle.
It sits very idyllic at the river.
A tea house in the Koraku-en garden.
Nice area in front of the main shrine of the garden.
A small hidden waterfall.
The Koraku-En garden is considered one of the three most attractive gardens in Japan.
The autumn leafs are as beautiful as in other areas in Japan.
There are always new and interesting views with these leafs.
A nice garden always comes with a pond.
And because it's Sunday we see a lot of very nicely dressed people.
A small tea field also is part of this garden.
A picture postcard photo: a newly wed couple for a photo shooting is also in the garden.
The trees and the house fit together very nicely.
I would expect that this branch would have been cut back in Germany, here it is a dominating element for the atmosphere around the pond.
And another wedding photo shoot.
Different stages of autumn leaf colors.
I am sure it gets very crowded below those cherry trees for the cherry blossom.
Why build a straight bridge if it looks much more interesting this way.
Don't get overexcited on those stairs.
This is a very relaxing view.
The photograph obviously knows all the nice places.
Kois can not be missing from such a pond.
The kids enjoy feeding the fish.
Okayama also has a nice streetcar.
For the long train journey we bought some nicely packaged bento boxes.
Our modern room at the remm hotel in Akihabara.
The bathroom is very modern as well.
View down to the street from the 11th floor.
There are too many buttons at the toilet, don't press the wrong one.
